The only difference between boys and men
is the size of their toys. My brothers make potato guns. These guys make watermelon launchers. Welcome to the South.
Cotton candy for a good cause.
Continue to pray for and support this little one! The Rock Ranch event went well, and here is the post from the last COTA: COTA for Cason.
runny noses, hide-n-seek, and icecream
Last night I got to hang out with some fun kids. They ate dinner, played a little hide and seek under the table, made ice cream cones, and played on a human jungle gym (me). I finally got all three in pajamas and it was almost bed time! So I read Camden a Dora book, gave Coleman his medicine and “night-night” blanket, and Caleb feel asleep at the bottle. It was refreshing to be around children, sorry if it is a little long, but I’m still perfecting my editing…besides, I couldn’t get enough of their cute faces
sweet reunion with the community group
I am so thankful I was able to visit with these people who mean so much to me.
Everyone needs an outlet to share what is really going on in their life. To ask tough questions, doubt, and wrestle with things. To read the Bible together, to pray with each other, and keep one another accountable. We are always going to have questions and things to work through. I think God wants us to have community. He had a pretty tight group of disciples himself.
Thank you for teaching me and loving me. May our friendships last forever.
don’t want to have to EVER pay for GAS again?
…well… if you have $109,000+ laying around….you should take a look at THIS.
100% Electric. 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Anyone dreaming yet?
Foreign Cinema
not long ago I ate at Foreign Cinema …the film showing was The Diving Bell and The Butterfly. It is an incredible true story of Jean-Dominique Bauby who was editor of the French fashion magazine ELLE. After he wakes from a three week coma, he is paralyzed and can only blink to communicate. Most of the movie is from his perspective and through is eyes, literally. The viewer can hear what he is thinking but the characters only see him blinking once for ‘yes’ and twice for ‘no’. The most amazing part is by blinking his left eye as a lady from the magazine reads a list of letters, he is able to spell out messages in order to write a book. All this while being trapped in his own body.
PAINTING STOLEN
A thief in Paris planned to steal paintings from the Louvre.
After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings and made it safely to his van.
However, he was captured only two blocks away when his van ran out of gas.
When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and make such an obvious error, he replied, ‘Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings.
I had no Monet
to buy Degas
to make the Van Gogh’
do you have De Gaulle to show this to someone else?
I figured I had nothing Toulouse.
Thanks Max, and Happy Friday everyone!
