how deep the Father’s love for us
Today I am reminded
No amount of good I do will ever be enough
No amount of bad will keep me from His love.
Grace is the undeserved love and salvation God gives through Christ.
E2 A2 How deep the Father's love for us, E C#m7 B2 How vast beyond all measure. E2 A That He should give His only son, E Bsus E And make a wretch His treasure. E A E A How great the pain of searing loss, E C#m7 B The Father turns His face away. E2 A2 As wounds which mar the Chosen One, E Bsus E Bring many sons to glory. E2 A2 Behold the Man upon the cross, E C#m7 B2 My sin upon His shoulders E2 E A Ashamed I hear my mocking voice, E Bsus E Call out among the scoffers. E A E A It was my sin that held Him there E C#m7 B2 Until it was accomplished. E2 A2 His dying breath has brought me life E Bsus E I know that it is finished. E2 A2 I will not boast in anything E C#m7 B2 No gifts, no power, no wisdom. E2 A But I will boast in Jesus Christ, E Bsus E His death and resurrection. E A E A Why should I gain from His reward? E C#m7 B2 I cannot give an answer. E2 A2 But this I know with all my heart, E Bsus E2 His wounds have paid my ransom. E A2 E Bsus E2

Dinner with (some of) the family.
I have felt so blessed by the open hearts and ears of my family to hear about my adventures. Those of us at home have gotten to eat a few dinners together already. I really enjoyed dinner tonight. Thanks for listening to my stories. I love you guys.
And in case you are one of the people that ask us “What do you do at home without a tv?” This is what we did after dinner tonight. :)
Happy 233rd Birthday
To the United States Marine Corps!
“On November 10th, 1775, a Corps of Marines was created by a resolution of the Continental Congress. Since that date, many thousand men have borne the name Marine. In memory of them it is fitting that we who are Marines should commemorate the birthday of our Corps.”
“there she goes…
…there she goes again…” I leave in 10 hours for the other side of the world. Ahh. Back to Beijing…back to BLOGSPOT.
when in Rome, Georgia
You can see Retreat, have a devotion at Frost Chapel, ride bikes past the water wheel to the Resivor, swing on the high ropes and rock climb. Good times, great memories. Much love to my girls!
Never leave your partner behind!
Tonight my family helped with the premiere of FIREPROOF. It was held at one of my favorite downtown historic places: The Fox Theatre. What a wonderful evening and great movie, a challenge and encouragement to all marriages. Thank you to everyone who came out! It will be in theaters September 26th! Go see this movie!!
